En Route to Elona

Who: Divergent Resolve and the airship crew
When: The next day

Life broke throughout the household of Divergent Resolve early, not loud or explosive, but as an energy seeping throughout with politeness: Sorry to bother you, but it's time to get up and work.

Movement began several hours before dawn with and inviting, encouraging smells traveled down the corridors leading to the kitchen to encourage the guild members to exit their respective rooms. The kitchen table had an array of breakfast foods available to pick up with the option to eat on the go or pack up for later including a large plate of scrambled eggs and cold hams. A pile of freshly baked plain scones sat on the other side of the table, ready to either accommodate the savory fillings or something sweeter from pretty little pots of jams and honey arranged in a neat line like little soldiers in glass armour and checkered sashes.

More importantly for some were the consistently bubbling pots of hot freshly brewed hot coffee and tea with milk, sugar, cinnamon and cocoa powders on hand for individual tastes.

Kell received some mild guidance from Vrenille in terms of checking he was up and awake and giving a general run down of the itinerary, but aside from the basics Kell was very much left to find his own feet as long as he didn't get under anyone else's, and was given light tasks in passing where an extra pair of hands were needed.

For the most part though, expectations were clearly defined and the household moved together like a well-oiled machine until remaining personal equipment and effects were all packed and ready with the majority of heavier lifting undertaken the previous day; the morning was far more about personal responsibilities.

By the time dawn had broken and settled over the harbour to make the water in the bay softly glitter, the guild had mostly made it out of the house and converged in the small square outside. The little automaton golem that had cleaned Calamus' leaf-fur off the cushions when Kell first arrived, hovered on the doorstep as the guild adjusted bags and satchels ready to leave. The Domest-o-matic waved one little metal arm and called out in its stilted robotic voice, "Have-a-good-trip. Please-employ-all-precautions-so-as-to-not-die."

Lion's Arch carried on as normal as Divergent Resolve made their collective way to the airship; they blended in well with everyone else making their various daily routines and movement preparations. As they approached the boarding ramp to the ship, the crew straightened up and offered passing salutes. Sesyria headed aboard first, making his way to the captain to engage in final departure discussions while the rest of the crew and guild boarded and got settled.

Arrangements didn't take terribly long and soon the ramp was removed and the ship began to rumble underfoot, the flight mechanisms activating to push the ship away from the docking area and begin to float upward steadily before propelling forward at a steady, even pace across Sanctum Harbour and out toward the open ocean, leaving Lion's Arch and the continent of Tyria behind and the promise of the free city of Amnoon in an expecting arrival time of roughly a week.
